What is an e-pin and how do you use it?
An e-pin is a single-use code that loads balance into a game or a digital store. You do not need a physical card: you buy the code, enter it in the right place, and the balance lands on your account straight away.
Where do you enter the code?
Every platform has its own box, and a code entered anywhere else will not work. The most common ones:
- Steam: in the client, the "Games" menu, then "Redeem a Steam Wallet Code".
- Google Play: in the Play Store app, your profile icon, "Payments and subscriptions", "Redeem code".
- App Store / iTunes: in the App Store, your profile icon, "Redeem Gift Card or Code".
- PlayStation: inside the Store, "Redeem Codes".
- Xbox: in the Microsoft Store, "Redeem a code".
- In-game currencies (UC, Diamonds, RP, VP and the like): most games have their own official top-up page, and it asks for your player ID.
The three most common mistakes
The first is a region mismatch. A code bought for one country's store will not work on an account registered in another. Check your account region before you buy.
The second is the wrong platform. A Google Play code will not work in the App Store, and a Steam code will not work on Epic. The names may look similar, but the systems are separate.
The third is sharing the code. An e-pin is single-use, and whoever enters it first gets the balance. Do not show the code to anyone and do not post a screenshot of it.
How quickly does the code arrive?
On Dolina the code appears on screen the moment the payment goes through, and you can reopen it any time from "My orders". If something goes wrong you can message the seller directly from the order page and open a support request for that specific item.
What if the code does not work?
Check three things first: the right platform, the right region, and that the code has not already been used. If all three are fine, open your order and create a support request. The order record keeps every step, including when the code was first revealed.
